It it is a world-renowned resort city, known primarily for gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. The city has about 641,900 residents and a population of about 2,227,000 in the metropolitan area.
Nevada is in the Western region of the United States. It shares borders with Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, and Utah. With just 3,104,614 residents, it is the 19th-least populous and ninth-least densely populated state. Three of the states’ four largest cities are in Clark County, which is home to nearly three-quarters of the residents.
