City Manager

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on manager to help launch and manage Getaround in Boston. The City Manager will be directly responsible for building up the city infrastructure that we need to be successful, followed by explosive growth of both car owners and renters.

You will need to have strong operational prowess as well as a growth mindset, and the ability to manage a team to carry out the company vision in a remote market. You'll also need a customer-service mindset and feel totally comfortable dealing with customer issues and working collaboratively with car owners.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with Getaround's launch team to launch and manage your own market
  • Build our vendor supply chain relationships of mechanics, body shops, etc
  • Build and manage local government and political relationships to help proliferation of car-sharing
  • Manage the local team, including fleet operations that handle car installs and issues related to cars in market

Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking to hire our first engineer for a brand-new team dedicated to reliability at Getaround. This team's mandate will be to add relability to our engineering infrastructure wherever it is most necessary. They'll be able to put effort into places that increases the total efficiency of engineering in sometimes dramatic ways.

You'll need some experience as an SRE or DevOps wizard, but we're looking for software engineers, not sysadmins. We're looking for someone who is comfortable building systems that will wake your co-workers up at 3 in the morning; someone who can write webapps, but can just as easily spin up all the right tools to keep one running.

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on manager to help launch and manage Getaround in Washington D.C. The Associate General Manager will be directly responsible for building up the city infrastructure that we need to be successful, followed by explosive growth of both car owners and renters.

You will need to have strong operational prowess as well as a growth mindset, and the ability to manage a team to carry out the company vision in a remote market. You'll also need a customer-service mindset and feel totally comfortable dealing with customer issues and working collaboratively with car owners.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with Getaround's launch team to launch and manage your own market
  • Build our vendor supply chain relationships of mechanics, body shops, etc
  • Build and manage local government and political relationships to help proliferation of car-sharing
