Associate General Manager

Full-time - Chicago

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on manager to help launch and manage Getaround in Chicago. The Associate General Manager will be directly responsible for building up the city infrastructure that we need to be successful, followed by explosive growth of both car owners and renters.

You will need to have strong operational prowess as well as a growth mindset, and the ability to manage a team to carry out the company vision in a remote market. You'll also need a customer-service mindset and feel totally comfortable dealing with customer issues and working collaboratively with car owners.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with Getaround's launch team to launch and manage your own market
  • Build our vendor supply chain relationships of mechanics, body shops, etc
  • Build and manage local government and political relationships to help proliferation of car-sharing
  • Manage the local team, including fleet operations that handle car installs and issues related to cars in market
  • Communicate market-process needs to HQ and build market health, success, and projection reports
