We're hosting our next host town hall on Tuesday, June 1st @ 8:30 - 9:30am PT where we'll be joined by our Head of Trust & Safety, Deborah Newman. She'll be discussing guest and host quality initiatives we're working on, including rewards programs and more.
Pre-submit your trust & safety questions beforehand so we can do our best to cover them in the session.

New! Our new host-facing reviews make it easy to find what people have been saying about your vehicles from your host dashboard. This can help you quickly determine how to increase your ratings and get more bookings.

Great news! You can now easily find what people have been saying about your vehicles from your host dashboard. For a high-level view, simply hover-over the info icon next to your car rating; or deep-dive into individual reviews from the Options menu. We hope this helps you quickly determine how to increase your ratings and get more bookings!
Your Car Condition Timeline is now accessible via desktop.
Want to browse past inspections or compare photos? This feature provides you with past guest inspection details, photos, and ratings and feedback. Our side-by-side photo comparison tool allows you to compare your own inspection photos against any from guests. Just select "Car Condition" on your host dashboard under the "Options" tab of each car to explore this feature.
We've released in-app inspections for hosts! This means that you can now record images of your vehicle, add notes, and submit them directly within the app. This feature enables you to provide more detailed insights into your vehicle’s condition to our Getaround team, so we encourage you to do these inspections as frequently as possible, especially as it pertains to claims processing. You'll see the option to "Create a new inspection" under any car name through the "Cars" tab of your host app.
We're excited to introduce our revamped car management experience for owners (on desktop)! We have given it a major facelift—including a brand new interface, faster load times, and additional features; restructuring it from the ground up to provide owners with a unified view and management system for their cars. We’re excited to introduce a brand new and highly requested tool for owners: Claims Manager, now available on desktop!No more digging through email threads and cross referencing ticket numbers. You can visit the Claims Management page to view, sort, and file claims all from one place. This integrated desktop management experience has centralized all things claims-related.
Hosts can now see their car(s) battery and fuel levels displayed in their host dashboard.Log into your Getaround app on desktop or mobile to view this latest product offering, which includes:• Battery & voltage display• Battery tool tips• Critical battery warnings• Fuel level displayThese live reads should reduce the need for physical checks and downtime of cars, allowing you to maximize availability and earnings.
