  • Designing Getaround’s Connected Car products by owning architecture selection, electrical design and validation.
  • Lead the hardware design process to develop new products interfacing with external contractors when needed (PCB layout, RF, ID, Mech). Work with all cross-functional teams (software, product design, industrial design, mechanical design, etc.) to deliver a successful product to market.
  • Validate your design: complete functional verification, signal characterization, power testing, and system level testing.

As a Getaround Product Quality Manager, you'll be ensuring the quality of all aspects of Getaround products, from webapp to mobile to customer service. You'll report into the Product Management team, and issue management and release verification will be your responsibility. You won't be expected to build or maintain automated test suites, but your input to them will be invaluable. Although this is not a coding position, you should be reasonably technical, know your way around a command-line, and be able to read python code.
