2008 Honda Civic, Hybrid

-- Parking -- Tired of looking and paying for parking? This car includes free parking in Union Square! This car has a reserved parking spot in a garage, and you can park in the spot during your rental and when you're leaving the car at the end of the rental. -- The car -- The car is a low-mileage, reliable silver Honda Civic. Better yet, it's a hybrid. It gets 40mpg city, and 45mpg on the highway (http://1.usa.gov/Lg282m). I recently drove it to Mendocino and Ukiah and back, 425 miles, and it used 10 gallons of gas, less than $40. There's plenty of trunk space, and can seat five passengers (though it would be a snug fit for five). -- Amenities -- It's great for city driving, as it comes with an easy-to-use GPS system, as well as AM/FM + XM/Sirius radio. There is an Aux port with audio cable, which you can connect to your iPod, smartphone or even a Walkman, if you're into that. There's also two iPhone 4 chargers. (If you use any of this stuff, please put in back in the middle compartment when you return the car. Don't want to encourage breakins). -- Pickup -- With the Carkit device installed on the vehicle, there's no key swap hassle to worry about. Just unlock it with Getaround's mobile app on your smartphone and you're on your way! -- Rental minimum -- I have a mileage limit of 200 miles/day, plus $.25 for each additional mile. -- Dogs and Smoking -- I've had some bad experiences with both dogs and cigarettes in the car (not at the same time, at least). Please don't take dogs or smoke in the car, or you'll be billed for cleanup costs. -- Fastrak -- I don't have a Fastrak device in the car. So bring your own if needed, or pay cash at the tollbooth.
